Though I love them, I am reminded of how usesless is the Hot Air Balloon.
This device, unless you show a watt from all that, is absolute crap. It can’t even get a glow from an LED.
Cool for an Elementary school class.
Though I do like the science involved so I guess it could be justified as an experiment
But production? I call CRAP.
i agree nice for a project but to use it serious it doesnt comein handy
i have a real solar panel that you can switch from 12 to 9 to 6 to 3 volts. it can make any thing work and it is portable and fun!!!
50 micro amps, that can’t power anything!
better to just build your own coal-powered oven
I think you can get some use try the following.
hook up several in series. This would raise the power.Connect them to a UPS or battery. to store and regulate the power in a useful way.also use a parabolic dish or other light catcher..this will increase kinetic potential.
anyway.neat.I may try this.
apparently in some countries it is illegal to do this without selling it or sharing the power with the power company. Next they will charge for the air, as if it is not enough to say they own the power generated by the sun.
link to your website is broken.
I doubt that it is illegal to generate leccy. Altenators solar panels and wind turbines are used on boats cars and houses all over the world.
Using all those materials you may as well make a still, brew alcohol from vegetable waste and use it in a generator.
During an entire lifetime in the sun, I bet it wouldn’t even generate a fraction of the power used to “cook” the copper sheet; not to mention the power needed to make the copper sheet in the first place! Free renewable energy, my bottom!! What a joke!
I Just built a FREE ENERGY MOTOR and GENERATOR from Creative Science & Research, fuellessUSA com I like your video also. keep up the good work.
@nowherebrain You would need a lot more than “several” to get any real use out of this.
@sorrythatnametaken Remember that solar power isn’t only used for the greenness, it’s also used in places where you have no other power available. And think of it as a home experiment, rather than something ready for mass production.
yah u r right
This is a joke. The textual video comment even says “microamps”, but that meter should be calibrated for milliamps. There ARE ways to make actual solar cells, but to do it right is insanely time-consuming and does require a baking process. I have not come across any good techniques. If you’re going DIY, making individual cells is ridiculous. Buy them and assemble to make panels.
someone shoot this guy
I don’t have any of it…!!
How long does it take for the copper sheets to corrode or build up junk? If they do at all.
@tak2mark i agree, but then why in someones video, when they made this, and shine light on it, the power goes up? doesnt it function as both? i havent thought it through yet too much to do
Thanks for the vid,i am doin some work with sun projects
(like solar oven, and maybe this year pasive solar house, and its cheap
please tell me, how big shood be the solar cells for 1 kw/our
some says thats the coper cells are vary veak(but steal i plan to make some of it to see),.. so if you can tell me more of this,or good links for it
Thanks in Andvance.
I invented a breakthrough energy source which violates the law of energy conservation. I have a PROOF that there are electrodynamic phenomena which violate the law of energy conservation. I am looking for $30 000 for a prototype and for $3M for patents. Making a 15 kW generator will cost $1200 in mass production, value of the energy produced yearly about $10 000.

what if i just use the heat trapped in my attic trying to escape, funnel it thru a small turbine, wire it to car batteries and voila! i have “whirly birds” on my roof that constantly spin. thats wasted energy huh?
this is a battery, not a solar cell!!!
@tak2mark Cu2O is a semiconductor and exhibits the photo electric effect. It is actually one of the most studied early semi conductors. Do your homework, what is described in the video IS indeed a solar cell, but not a very efficient one.
